The beasts embrace rune, while not a must, is basically a must because they make the moveset so friggin cool, and I think it gets slightly more range, at the cost of speed. You just have to be careful about taking increased damage. But your AR can easily shoot up to 700 if you get close to filling the meter. I like the beast claws, especially in pve they just demolish bosses. Not crazy about their moveset with beasts embrace honestly, though I might need to give them another go. Beasts embrace is somewhat necessary for the crazy boost to how they build your beasthood, but the moveset feels sluggish and less versatile than without it.
